frost-burned rosemary

hi all,

I have a very large rosemary bush (approx 3ft high) that lives in a 30-gal wooden tub in my backyard. This is its second winter outside, but it has been considerably colder this year than last. It definitely appears to be alive still, but has a lot of frostbitten new growth on it. What's the best strategy to help it bounce back? Should I trim off the burnt parts, or just let it recover on its own and cut the dead parts off later? The main branches are about pencil-thick, and seem to have survived the frost well.

Also, any advice for what to do to protect it next year would be welcome. Can they be wrapped in burlap? Bubble wrap?

Thanks!
