Do I do anything with Oregano in the spring

First time growing oregano last season but I'm not sure if I need to do anything to care for it now. The snow finally melted and leaves are still green from last year. I'm guessing I should prune it now to encourage new growth. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It doesn't need pruning as such but you can shear off the old flowers stems and any tall ratty growth. It will grow fresh stems.

My Oregano only needs pruning if it ends up with dead shoots, makes it harder to harvest or share plants for friends.
