Hardy mint? Not when they live with me!

hi all,

I know everyone says mint is the hardiest toughest plant in the entire world. But it seems, I cant seem to make it flourish!

Each time i buy potted mint, they stay healthy for about a week, and then it starts to wilt or the longer stalks flop to the side and grow upwards, resulting in a bowl-shaped plant that isnt very pretty. One of the plants had bottom leaves turn crusty and hard too!

I water them every other day (they live indoors in pots so i take extra care) and fertilise every 2 waterings with a light seaweed mix. They get a good amount of sunlight everyday. Still, they are not happy.

I have since brought them outside where I hope they will benefit from the better air circulation.

So what's causing them to flop to the side and go wilty and crusty?

Thanks!
