It will always be small, that's the beauty of it for some purposes. I grew if for a couple of years and loved the flavor. It might be hardy in your location.

Interesting, thanks! If it grows pretty slowly, I think it would be a daggone cute "tree" in a mini garden, but worry it would need a lot more water than the other succulent-type plants. Hmmm...

Is this the same as globe basil? If yes, they wont grow very tal but get bushy.

Oh I don't know, but maybe the common name I've used is less common. It does look like a little green globe. Thanks for the input! If it ever stops raining, I'll take a pic of it, a cute little thing.
