Large Leaf Mint

Last year, I seeded Licorice Mint and one plant germinated that had a peppermint scent vs the licorice of the Anise.

I have seen other "peppermint" plants, which have small leaves but this one has ~ a 2" leaf. Is this a specific type of peppermint plant? The stalk is square.

What does it smell like? The leaves almost look more like catnip (also in the mint clan) than a peppermint to me.

Smells like peppermint to me....I have catnip too. The leaves on it have a fuzzy texture.
