| Last year, i bought a spearmint plant..but never got around to planting it..so i left it outside in it's pot all winter.. Ha.
My mom tried moving the pot a few weeks ago..only to realize it has thoroughly rooted itself inot the ground..and is popping up everywhere! XD evil stuff. luckily..we really didnt have much planted there..but how to remove the gaudy plastic pot? I'm actually kind o fhappy..the chocolate mint i planted near the back area of our house has not come up yet..(we were trying to isolate it back there,,but it is far tio inconvenient to walk back there..plus the dog like to use over there for his bathroom area.. XD he likes the minty fresh scent... |

| I managed to keep a chocolate mint alive all winter inside, then put it outside on a nice day last week, promptly forgot about it and found it frozen the next morning. It's all brown and crispy now, but I'm hoping it will re-sprout. If it does, I'm going to be reeeaaallly bad and plant it on city property. It can't be any worse than the Asian Honeysuckle or Purple Loosestrife that's growing along the lake. |
