I winter sowed with success. I did have at least 3 months of cold for the seeds. You can always try it and see what happens. Who knows? Plants sometimes make up their own minds on what to do. :)

And if it doesn't work, you will have learned something (always valuable for gardeners!) and can try winter sowing next winter.

I still have some seeds left. I'm going to cold strat them for one week and try again. How do you use it? In a tea?

I don't always use all the herbs I grow. Sometimes I just like to "meet them" and learn about them by adding them to my gardens especially if they are native to North America and my region. Skullcap is one such plant. It is a moisture lover so locate appropriately. I had it in a partial sun (early morning only) and it seemed to appreciate that. I also found the plants got pretty badly bug chewed here.
