I have grown Hoja Santa in a pot for 2 years now. In the winter it is inside (we are zone 5), but in the summer, it goes out onto a shady porch. Indoors, I give it a sunny window as the winter sun is much less intense. I keep it watered fairly well. It does okay in the winter, but really, really likes the time spent on the porch in the summer.

Where did you get yours?

Companion Plants. A nursery in Ohio who mail orders. I've always been quite happy with the plants I get from them.

anyone know a source to buy plants, or roots? loved it in mexican foods. had one once but had to move.

I bought 2 plants from Sow Exotic and have had them for about 2 months yesterday i can see crystals on the stems and leaves i have never seen this before except on cannabis. Does anyone know if this is normal?
