Wow. Congratulations. I will have to try germinating lavender this way too, as I don't have any sprouts yet for this tricky thing.

Thanks soeado!! Also, I forgot to mention, I placed them in a sealed plastic bag, on top of the trusty refridgerater!! [please don't give up,if after a week, nothing is happening. it took mine a good week and a half. Its been about 3 weeks now, and the occasional seed still is germinating! Good Luck!!

You could try the damp paper towel method. Put a whole bunch 12 or so, in some moist paper towel. stick this in a sealed plastic bag [or sealed container, and put in a warm spot.[top of the refrigerater works great. check them in about a week, Good luck!

Now, they seem to have picked up their growth.

Awww, thanks Joyce!! Would you believe I just yesterday gave them a tiny bit of dilute fert. I read somewhere herbs do ok without , so I dont want to kill them with kindness lol!

Do u grow them with overhead lights or just regular sunlight? If U do grow them with overhead lights how long do u leave them on for?

These were grown really close [about an inch] from Gro Lux wide Spectrum grow lights. Not too horribly exspensive, and really effective. I have flowering begonias, and peppers fruiting already, they are IMO great lights.

Shoot, I forgot to tell you I leave the lights on 12 hrs, and let them sleep at night.
