Vanilla Bean

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone out there might have some vanilla bean plants that they are willing to give me a cutting from... I would love to grow some for my own extracts and soaps. I'm in Jonesboro, GA and willing to drive to most anywhere in the state.

Do you mean the orchid from which the commercial extract is made?? The plant is an evergreen vine while it is fairly easy to grow it is reluctant to flower and requires hand pollination.. also a fermentation process to extract the oils.. maybe you mean another type of plant?? gary
