Chocolate Mint

Posted by jude31 (My Page) on

I just purchased some chocolate mint for a hanging basket because I thought it was so pretty. Now I'm wondering if you can use it for culinary purposes and if so does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks,
Jude

Use it like regular peppermint, in tea, etc...I like eating it plain. Tastes like peppermint, but with a hint of the Andes chocolate mint flavor.

Chocolate mint is just a specific cultivar of peppermint.

There's plenty about chocolate mint if you do a search on this forum.

Here is a link that might be useful: chocolate mint

I love using it to make fresh mint ice cream. Very tasty!

My uncle who is a chef made the best raspberry chocolate-mint pie and used no chocolate. By adding the chocolate mint to his raspberry pie recipe. It was amazing!
