Looks good. I still see some flower buds but you can remove them later. You can also remove a few leaves when you cut off the flowers... ie pinch a bit harder.

Are some of the thai basil plant's leaves ever purple? I didn't pick what looked like small purple leaves. Wondering if I should have picked those off with the flowers.

I agree that it looks pretty good. I have Thai basil also and some of the young leaves do appear a tad purple. What I do when I prune is just clip a couple leaves with it. 1. to insure I pruned all the flowers and 2. I can toss the leaves in whatever I'm cooking so they don't go to waste :)
I have sweet basil too and it keeps wanting to bud up on me but the buds are so close to leaves I just clip the tops off and cook the whole thing before the buds get very big.
