Indoor or Outdoor? Potted or in ground?

Perhaps the soil was too good for the plant. I grow oregano in the absolute worst and most spent soil I have. It loves it. To give you an idea how incredibly bad the soil is, seeds from all but the most vigorous of self-seeders refuse to germinate in it. I never renovated that bed from the previous owners who used that bed for vegetables and they would only use chemicals to fertilize the soil. That was many, many years ago now but the poor soil is still there and the oregano, sage, and thyme think it is dreamy!

It is potted outdoors (concrete back) and thanks fata I be going out to a feild which I know what potatoes in last year they take most nutrients
