I bought my first ashwaganda herbal plant and am not sure how to plant. I was going to plant in a pot because I think it's an annual herb; does anyone know sunny or part shade? and I understand the roots are the medicinal part of the plant. So we pull the plant up when? In the fall? what do I do with the roots? Dry them and use them in tea? And when it berries, this is what I need to keep for re-seeding?
I know it would be easier to just buy the herb capsules, but this seems like so much more fun!
Thanks!
