Culantro--growing and saving seeds

I just purchased a small culantro plant. I'm currently debating about whether to try it outside (I have a little shade, but the yard is 6' fenced and gets very hot during the day, with lots of reflected light) or keep it in a pot inside to try and extend it's growing season. It's new to me, so if anyone has experience with container growing it, I would appreciate it.

I also want to try and save the seeds from it. I've read some of the back posts, including the recent one about germinating the seed, but is there anything special about how to harvest and keep the seeds?

I am speaking of culantro, eryngium foetidum, NOT cilantro.
