thyme question

I planted this thyme last year. It looks great except for in a few spots where some branches are pretty dried looking. Should I just cut the whole dry branch back at once or snip a little off here and there to rejuvenate it? I want to make sure I can grow this to its full potential. It looks so great in the garden I'd love to do it right and keep it going strong!

Thanks in advance
