Rosemary growth problem

My Rosemary has been growing but turning black at the tips (see below). I've tried pruning these black tips off once and it seems to stimulate new growth. But, the black tips show up again after a few days. And, it's black for almost every new stem. What can be the cause of this?

Additionally, I'm thinking of moving it onto the ground since I currently place it on my balcony.

I'm now thinking that it's probably because of soap spray that I used to get rid of the aphids on the plant. I noticed that the soap spray was affecting another plant. I may have used too much soap.

In addition, since the rosemary is quite big, I divided into two from the root. Hope this all turns out fine.

I agree that it probably was the soap spray.... I've had it happen too.
