I happened upon this in my local garden shop yesterday, took one sniff, and immediately scarfed up a plant. It really does have a fragrance of rose geranium, and a very distinct one.

Richter's online states it is alrady out of this plant. I was unable to find out its history on Google--Richters holds the rights--but it amazes me that it is apparently a fairly recent variety.

Does anyone know who actually developed this variety?

Richters states it is hardy in zones 5 through 9. If anyone has it, please tell me how well it is growing for you, and under what conditions. This is one I definitely want to keep.
