Richters is a great source for all manner of mint. I included a link but you may wish to see if there is a retailer on the west coast. Richters is in Canada near Toronto. That is a long way to ship a plant with summer temperatures.

Thanks fatamorgana! You are right, I would be hesitant to order a plant from them at this time of year. I found another online retailer, Pantry Garden Herbs, but the shipping for just one or two plants is astronomical (and I don't really need any more than that - I have plenty of seeds/plants of other herbs already). And I have searched my local nurseries (the specialty ones, not Lowe's/Home Depot) to no avail. So hopefully someone in my area will take pity on me with a cutting!
