I don't care for cinnamon basil as much, and therefore don't grow it myself. I have read that it makes a really great homemade ice cream though.

Lemon basil is good in fruit salads or dessert applications. Also nice on chicken or seafood.

I grew cinnamon basil once. If I recall correctly, it was more similar to thai basil than the standard sweet basil like "Genovese." I would try it in dishes calling for thai basil - which is in my garden every year!

Never tried the cinnamon basil, but I have Thai basil and lime basil and I've found they are really versatile if you can keep the bugs off of them. They work with fish, especially if it's grilled. The citrusy basils are great in salads, both fruit and green. Also in cocktails, try macerating some leaves with sugar and some citrus juice and then adding vodka or tequila or something similar. You can also make herb jellies from any fresh herb (if you can get a couple of cups worth of the leaves), and those are great because you can open them in the dead of winter and get a jolt of summer.
