Can you get it some Mother Nature time outdoors?

Thank you. Yes, I could put the pot outside. In the past when I have had potted herbs outside, I have had trouble with bugs. Does it need a lot of sun?

Basil likes full-sun. You will get better results outside rather than inside. If the plant has been inside for a while, make sure to shelter it at first. It needs to "harden" to outdoor conditions.

Thank you! I'll give it a try. The plant has been inside it's whole life. It was originally grown in an Aerogarden. Then I transplanted it in dirt about a year ago. It is just looking sort of sickly now. Sounds like a good idea to me to put it outside.
