Does salt kill mint?

OK here is the deal.... I had a hosta in a pot about 1 1/2 feet tall and one foot diameter. About 3/4 cup of table salt was poured onto the hosta and it got wattered so i am assuming it soaked in..... Now i immediately removed and washed the hosta and it is now thriving, but i just planted my "chocolate"mint i thiink it is or peppermint in that pot. I have watered it agan and it is drizzling outside. Will the mint die, or will the salt be in too little concentration since mint is like a weed almost??
