Something very icky and snake-like appears to be nesting and eating the roots of my lavender? I went in my garden and I saw that my lavender suddenly looked horrible. I thought it may have been from all the rain we have but when I took a closer look at the base of the plant it appeared something has been burrowing underneath it. Upon a closer look I saw something very slithery moving about . It looks like it hit two lavender plants, and so far has left everything else be (bed filled with hardy perennial herbs). What the heck is that?!
