| Hi
so there are these black dots on my basil leaves and I have no clue what they are or if there is some bacteria problem with the plants because so far the leaves look healthy. I'm thinking the dots were created by bugs but once again I'm not sure. photos:

| Those images are too blurry for a good identification. Any chance of seeing something a bit more focused? |
|
| Not a bacteria problem. Are the spots very flat on the leaf? Or are they 3-D, as in small round balls or squares? (If so, = poops of caterpillar eating something above that leaf.) What does the entire plant look like? (Need image, please.) |

| I have one poor sad basil that gets attacked all the time by critters, so there it sits sacrificing it's leaves. In desperation, I planted another basil on the drip system in the side yard, and so far the critters haven't found it! It's in a pot, sitting kind of high, so I'm thinking this could be the only way to go for me with basil. I hate sharing my good basil with any other than critters of the two legged kind. |
