Waterlogged Lavender

Hi everyone,

My Hidecote lavender bush (about 4 years old) is in a large container with no drainage and it got waterlogged from all the rain we got. What should I do so it won't rot? I don't have a space in the garden (it used to grow in the ground, I just transplanted this year) or a pot to put it in. Help!!!

Poke some drainage holes into the "large container."

FataMorgana,

We couldn't do that because the container is metal. However, we found a container that works for it. Problem solved!
