That's one of my regular suppliers. I bought some a couple months ago, but it was inert (no good). I talked extensively with their purchasing agent, and he could not determine the harvest date since it comes from India.

Some suppliers of my herbs have seen desperate times. Some (not all) are getting rid of old stock supplies. That means I'm particularly careful about the raw products I buy for manufacturing since they'll sell me herbs that are several years old.

Thanks for considering this. If you come up with other ideas, let me know. I think my best bet is to have someone sell me freshly harvested root.
