Rosemary Question

I have a rosemary plant that is at least 5 years old and it's about 3 or 4 feet tall by 3 or 4 feet wide. I've never seen it bloom...ever. It was a gift from my mom that came in a pot and I planted it in the ground. Are there non flowing rosemary plants? How can I know what kind I have? Will it ever flower?

Looking through my herb book I found "rosmarinus officinalis aureus" - Golden Rosemary

And paraphrasing... "Evergreen hardy perennial. Ht.80cm (32in), spread 60cm (24in). It hardly ever flowers, if it does they are pale blue. Leaves are green and needle thin with splashes of gold"

A bit smaller than yours, but the only only one I could find that doesn't regularly flower.

The giant one at my Mom's house is about 6 years old and has also never bloomed.

Thank you Jake11, no doubt you're probably right because I've searched high and low in rosemary information to no avail.
And somehow still missed the "golden" rosemary info.
Purpleinopp, let's hope it blooms one day I wouldn't doubt mine and your parents are the same kind.
