Mix around 2 ounces of molasses per gallon of water. Water the plant on your normal schedule, making sure you get a little run off out the bottom. All natural, works well. Might take a few weeks. But as long as they aren't killing the plant, who cares? If time is of the essence and you aren't worried about chemicals, there are tons of food grade pesticides available.

You can also take a sample of the bugs to Home Depot and pray for a knowledgeable garden tech to identify them.

Insecticidal soap is listed for use on herbs. A generally available brand is Safer's, but there are others. Follow the label for mixing instructions and re-application times.

These products are OMRI listed for "organic" growing.

Much safer than homemade remedies.

I would suggest you take it to your local agricultural center instead of Home Depot. They are trained to know bugs and how to take care of them.

There can be a simple solution:

-- cover the top of soil with about 1/8" Pearlite, then
-- cove the pearlite with about 1" thickness of small pine nuggets (Or things used for Orchids potting)

What will happen?: The Bugs usually make home in the mosit soil. By adding pearlte and pine nuggets, you disturbing and cutting them off. The lay eggs in soil, they need a home in the soil wit an easy access to open air to survive.
In the meant time you can use a house plant spray for white flies. They usually come in a small sprayer like mosquito repellent . Or slightly bigger.
