| I attempted to grow Florence fennel for the first time this year. Unfortunately with the heat wave that hit, it's all gone and bolted before I got any bulbs. I figure next year I'll have to try a more bolt-resistant variety.
I know fennel seed and pollen is usually collected from common fennel, but would it be worthwhile to try and collect these from the florence fennel? |

| You can use Florence fennel seeds for cooking and for planting. So I'd say it's worthwhile collecting them. |
