I think it originally came from flower bed next door of a home ,next door, rarely occupied now. Is this lemon oregano????? or what??? Please tell
It is growing all down the gravel driveway next door other side, too. Plus I have volunteers too in our gravel,too.... I believed it had yellow or off white small flowers, did smell lemony a little ...a while back... Thanks Jean |

It doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with. Try posting to the "Name that Plant" forum. FataMorgana

If it was lemon oregano it would have a very distinctive smell. I agree with Fatamorgana - it isn't any plant I know. My money is on a weed. Try NTP.

Doesn't look like my lemon basil, and doesn't look like oregano, either. I think it's a weed, too.

Jean - you asked what we thought and we have all said it is not oregano. Fatamorgana, especially, has a vast knowledge of herbs, both common and unusual, and if she can't id it is unlikely to be any herb which would volunteer lustily in your garden. I would reiterate to put it on Name That Plant to get an id.
