If it was lemon oregano it would have a very distinctive smell. I agree with Fatamorgana - it isn't any plant I know. My money is on a weed. Try NTP.

Jean - you asked what we thought and we have all said it is not oregano. Fatamorgana, especially, has a vast knowledge of herbs, both common and unusual, and if she can't id it is unlikely to be any herb which would volunteer lustily in your garden. I would reiterate to put it on Name That Plant to get an id.
