Mint getting Rangy....level the patch?

| hey all!
my mint is looking pretty sorry - not attractive at all and most leaves are not harvestable, those that are are small and only a few per sprig.....
Should I level the patch and start over? or is it just the way it is in high summer heat? |

| Give it a radicial haircut - to the ground if necessary. Or, if it's in a pot - divide and repot. |

| I do it the Daisy-way several times a year and haven't lost a mint yet. |
