What are some good herbs to plant? I want herbs that have good uses, such as nausea, headaches, colds and flu..etc

So far I want to plant bergamot, lemon verbena, comfrey, and maybe some type of non-invasive mint...

What zone are you in? I see your profile says Canada. Unless you live in a coastal area that has a much warmer zone than most of Canada, lemon verbena is going to have to be brought in for winter. It is hardy only to zone 8.

Your zone (for winter hardiness) is needed because it is going to guide many suggestions if you are planning an herb garden.

Also please research your herbs carefully if you are going to medicate yourself. Comfrey in particular is not a plant to play around with.

Lemon balm, as opposed to lemon verbena, would be no problem in your climate.

According to a map (http://planthardiness.gc.ca/images/cfs11x8E.jpg)
my zone is 6b..

I already have lemon balm, but I'm not impressed by it..It doesn't taste that lemony or sweet in tea..

I was thinking about some herbs for tea..Doesn't need to taste fantastic, but I want some benefits..For example, I get migraines (probably because anxiety)..

Most definitely educate yourself. You will avoid problems that way.

I ran across the link below the other day. Has lots of tea herbs listed. Some will and some won't be hardy for your zone. Google any herb and "hardiness" or "hardiness zone" and you'll get the info you need to start pruning down the list to what will grow in your zone.
