I picked up several herbs last spring that I'd never grown--motherwart, camphor, pineapple sage and some others. One that I thought was camphor until I was looking at pictures and realized that camphor is the plant next to my mystery plant. (One day I'll actually keep a garden journal!)

The mystery plant is a medium/dark green with very large elongated leaves. The stems of the leaves all come from a center sort of like a hosta but not so organized or stiff. The leaves are as long as 10" and as wide as 4". It has remained green through our first few freezing nights.

When I bought it I was told it was a medicinal herb that was good under bandages and on wounds. (Not that I experimented or anything!)

Any ideas what this might be?
