Seeking an oregano that isn't prostrate

In my sunny herb bed, I have a patch of oregano. However because it crawls along the ground, I cannot cut it off to dry. The stems are covered with dirt, mulch, leaves & roots and the leaves are less than pristine. Is there a culinary oregano cultivar (hardy in MD) that has an upright habit. (Drying my rosemary is so much easier.)
