I bought this herb in a Vietnamese grocery store and it is very tasty. I am wondering if I can grow this from cuttings? Does anyone else have experience with this wonderful herb?

No. But I did look it up when I saw it ID'd on "Name That Plant." According to what I read, it does like water. In fact some pages for it on google searches were in aquarium plant pages. If you search for "Limnophilia aromatica propagation" at google you also get aquarium pages. From a bit of what I read, I would think that you could grow from cuttings. Worth a try!

I have the impression that this herb is a relative newcomer to the USA. Sadly, there is a language barrier when I visit the Vietnamese store and I would think that my cultivation questions would be misunderstood. I would like learn of personal growing experiences in my climate. Google is still wonderful, too.
