Just make sure they are THOROUGHLY dry after washing before you store them. Also, you won't get as much flavour out of them as you would if you'd picked them fresh, then allowed them to dry. As the plant was dying, it was losing its power to produce the essential oils which give the leaves their flavour and aroma. I don't see why you can't use them, however. I've never actually used a herb that has died without my help!
