Taking more pictures!!!

A few of these I've posted this year, but most are new. This first one is called 'Marvelous Marble'. I'm bowled over by its beauty and I don't have any others remotely like it. It could possibly be my new favorite. I'm sure you can see why.

This is a heucherella called 'Brass Lantern'. The new growth is reddish and in the center, while the older growth is the brassy colored leaves you can see towards the bottom of the plant.

'Berry Smoothie' was a favorite of mine last year. Here it is just starting to put on its stunningly vibrant color.

This is a mini heuchie called 'Frost'. It packs quite a punch of color despite its tiny size.

All of the heuchies from the marmalade family are turning beautifully for me. Here's 'Lime Marmalade'.

I love the splotchy look of the leaves on 'Snow Angel', but the real stunner is the contrast between the leaves and the flowers.

Good grief...these are just incredible. I can't stop oohing and ahhing! Truly, you keep me coming back to the heuch forum for my fix. I've finally found some self control with hostas, and now this! Every penny of my Mother's Day gift card is going toward heuchs...we have a nice selection available locally:

(off the top of my head)
    Golden Zebra
    Cherry Cola
    Brass Lantern
    Sweet Tea
    Fire Chief
    Georgia Plum
    Georgia Peach
    Blondie
    Paris
    Carnival Watermelon
    Pear Crisp
    Citronelle
    Yellowstone Falls
    Obsidian
    Marmalade

    ...how to choose?

wonderful stuff! sure will brighten up the hosta beds this year. i already got one w/ no tag but it promises to be a stunner. unlike hosta, heuchies tend to look like their names, which i find very interesting.

Thanks for sharing. I think I may have killed my Gunsmoke but based on these pictures I would try it again.
