Container Ideas for "Obsidian"

I'm going to 'transplant' my "Obsidian" to a container. I plan to plant a small hosta along with it. Any other plant suggestions (2 or 3) to add to the pot?

I grow 'Obsidian' and it's my favorite of all of the dark ones I have. I find it looks particularly good with silver leafed plants. It also looks good with orange or lime green.

This is a picture of mine growing beside another heuchera I have called Gunsmoke. I think the two pair well together. A mini heuchie called Frost might also work well in your container, as it only gets about 6-9" at maturity and it pairs well with Obsidian.

How much sun will your container be getting? What color hosta do you plan on putting in with it? I might be more helpful if I knew more details.

Thanks for the tip. I like those two together. And "Frost" looks like it would go with it too.

Kossa Regal is a tall vase shape blue hosta that holds itself upright. It would look beautiful with Obsidian. So would Japanese Ferns, golden moneywort, and laminium.
