Aphids

Have any of you had a problem with Aphids on your huechera? Noticed some little green crawlers and was told they were aphids. Have been hand picking them but just this week got some insecticidal soap-hoping it does not hurt the plant. Seems to only bother the one - and forgive me because I'm new to this forum and these varieties but I cannot recall the name. It's of the darker variety so them little lime green guys really stand out. Are they susceptible to any particular type of pests?

RE: Aphids

I haven't seen aphids on my heuchs, but they like lots of other things in my garden. Insecticidal soap does them in and won't hurt either your plants or you. It may require some repeat applications every week or so - keep an eye on them. Petunias are the worst for me. At least aphids just sit there and let you blast away!!
