Summer end sale

Hello. I have been looking at Heuchera for a while, but never made the plunge. So one of my local box stores is having a half-off sale to get rid of their plants by fall, and they had a bunch for $4.50 in the one gallon pots. I have limited space so I only picked up seven, though there were several others I would have loved to grab.
I now have Ginger Peach, Shanghai, Harvest Silver, Stainless Steel, Snow Angel, Fire Chief and Caramel. It is a good start for a beginner, I believe.

Hi KD. Yes, that's a great start for a beginner! Be careful...once heuchera fever sets in, you're going to want to buy them all! I have 'Harvest Silver', 'Fire Chief' and 'Caramel' (from your list) and enjoy them. This pic is of my 'Caramel' after a full growing season. It's darker caramel color in the spring and fall than it is right now. You can see that the new leaves are richer in color, while the older ones have "greened up" a bit. It's pretty typical for most heucheras to look greener during the summer months.
