What's eating my Heuchera

This is the first Heuchera I've ever planted. I put it in the ground about a week ago and today I noticed these holes in the leaves. I don't see any other evidence of insects on or near the plant. What's doing this and how can I get rid of it. I'm not against using chemical insecticides. My garden is quite small.

Holes in the middle of your leaves are most likely caused by slugs or snails. That being said, those holes look especially round and almost make me think caterpillar or some other type of wormy creature. I'm no expert, though. I think there is a bug forum here where people are better at identifying bug damage. You might try posting the picture there. Good luck!
