They are pretty easy to grow from seed. Just place the seed in a damp paper towel in a baggie and refrigerate for 6 weeks. After that, scatter over the top of starting mix and the seed should germinate in a couple of weeks at regular room temps. They do need light, so do not cover the seeds (except with a plastic bag to maintain humidity) and place under a grow light. An alternative is directly sow the seeds outdoors now. They should germinate in spring.

You should know that seeds from hybrid varieties (most named, colored foliage forms) will not come true to type. These types of heuchs are propagated asexually only - from tissue culture or division. But you should still get some nice plants.
