| Just wanted to show off my Luna Hibiscus (sorry to show off, but I've been eagerly awaiting its blooms and they are so pretty!). I am in zone 6 and bought these from Home Depot after having bad luck with another Luna plant. I have since found out that I had to mulch them heavily for the winter, which I did, with success.
They still bloomed pretty late, though (late August). Is this normal? |

| Simply beautiful! These look like Disco Belles (shortest variety)...do you know what makes them a Luna Series? I started mine from seed from GWeb trade early spring in a cat litter bucket with the best soil possible, then transplated to right area, and believe it or not, I got some too, but very late in NY State, but beautiful none-the-less. Good luck to you...you will love them. Ginny B. |
