Recmmendations for 9bFL--fast grower, florific, dense shrub?

I live in 9b FL, and was really looking for the colorful hybrid type, but the people at the only place that has any, says that she was a little disapointed....it didn't behave like the common vararities at all. They are slow growing, very few flowers, .... Not what I am looking for. I'd like a fast growing, florific, dense shrub for a line of specimin plants/hedge. All in dif colors. I like singles better than doubles. They will go in a full sun location.

Help me out,

--Rick

I'd contact the nearest chapter of the American Hibiscus Society, www.americanhibiscus.org. They would be able to give you advice on this.
I do know that many of the cultivars aren't always the biggest or most freely blooming hibiscus.
Good luck and let us know what you find out.
