dinnerplate hibiscus question.....

Hi - I, just received this plant.
I don't know anything about this type of hibiscus.
It is dormant, at this time.
At what time, should it start to bloom?

I am central Texas and most of these types of hibiscus don't start blooming til Mother's Day on into the June time frame. Need lots of sun and moist roots to do the best. Harder to do in a drought year like this.

Hi David - Thank you , for the information. I have never seen the blooms of this hibiscus.
My grandson, will be excited too - as he is learning to garden. He loves to follow me around in the garden when stuff is blooming. I can't wait!!!! tina_2
