rate of growth for hibiscus

Does anyone know how quickly your typical garden variety hibiscus will grow? I'm thinking of using them on my property line to screen out a neighbor's terrible mess. Can they be planted reasonably close to make a hedge?

Thanks

    Growflowers,
Tropical hibiscus with the glossy leaves can be grown in your area as hedges.
    They grow fast.
Moisture, miracle grow and sun is all they need.
    They also need humidity.
If I lived where you live, I would have a hibiscus hedge also.
