I do not own a standard ROS, but I want to buy one this year....can anyone tell me the name of the 'blue' form that I saw a couple of years ago in standard form?? Thanks in advance for your time. :-) |

| gardenlady48: The Rose of Sharon that you probably saw was the Blue Satin. This is very common and looks varying degrees of bluish/purple depending on the lighting etc. Very easy to grow from seed by the way and worthwhile to make your own standard from. If you are willing to wait until spring I would be more than happy to send along a seedling from mine (as they reseed readily) if you want to send a SASBE. Let me know if interested. Ross. |
