Last year, someone gave me 6 or 7 inch seedlings of this plant. We actually dug it. She said that it is Rose of Sharon. Her Rose of Sharon plant was about 6 ft tall. The seedlings were near the trunk of the parent.

I planted it in the northwest side of my house around September or October. Should I move it to a full sun area?
