| I'm new to this forum and am looking for some tips on whether or not to cut back my seven foot hibiscus aftercoming out of dormancy. The leaves look dead, but I am getting some regrowth.
I would hate to trim back to far or to early. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thankyou! |

| Unless the dead leaves are mushy or diseased, there is real reason to cut it back yet until you have good growth and it is past the last frost for your area. Those old dried dead leaves can kind of protect the new growth from further frost damage until then. Once the last frost date has passed you can go ahead and trim off the dead leaves and stems. ~SJN |
