Hibiscus aclueatus

I would like to know more about this hibiscus. I bought these seeds several years ago, and I finally got around to planting them. They came up good, and the leaves look like okra plants.

The color should be butter-yellow. Are these hibiscus worth growing? I live in Zone 7a. Will they winter over?

Do these look weedy?

I like this Hibiscus because the flower color is so pretty. You shouldn't have any overwintering problems in your zone. Like most of the hardy Hibiscus, it requires little care.

Rosie, thanks for the information! Mine are still in pots. I will plant them out soon. Can't wait to see them bloom!
